Have a great time in Hawaii and wishing your brother a quick full recovery! I came back from an 18-day trip back in China and I am totally in agreement with everything you said, about this everyday ordinary life we are living in this world right now!
I am sort of having a “writer’s block” 😆 but managed to put out a mostly photos posting yesterday, part one of 3 parts. Now I am just binge watching “The White Lotus”. 😅
What a post! Very glad to hear your brother is alright, hope he has a quick recovery!
I definitely relate to wanting to live more offline, I would have been hard on myself for being away from Substack for over a week before, but now I'm just like 'life happens' 🤷♀️😅
Yes, it’s funny that you mentioned that. I was thinking of explaining my new posting schedule, and then I was like, nahhhh, nobody cares! No one will notice. Everyone’s wrapped up in their own lives, too! Thanks for sharing, xo
Wow wierd miracle for brother survival! How old is he? I’m I Toronto, cause my mother died 1.5 wks. Ago on hers sleep at home . She was 90. Make your Hawaii revisit fully sociable and loving. Life is very precious. Hugs.
😮 glad to hear your brother is recovering ❤️🩹 well but 🤯 slightly after just finishing reading that article about your dad you mentioned. Wishing him well and sending you much love 💕 as you make time to spend with others.
Thanks, A. Yes, the whole incident has given me lots of space to pause. I may not know what to think or believe, but at the end of the day, he was lucky. We all were. Blessings, xo
What an incredible save - your brother will be forever changed by this, possibly you all will be.
As for the world right now, I am so up and down - I can manage impressive mindfulness for about three days and then I may be pacing at 3 am throwing around all kinds of Dr.Evil scenarios in my head. You do right. Have a great time away and look forward to hearing all about it!
Awww, thanks, Sue. Your 3am confession reminds me of meditation practices, sometimes you have good sessions and other times it was not so great. I've learned to accept it because the alternative doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Fingers crossed that there isn't any long term damage. And thanks for reading, Sue, you are simply the best, xo

Thanks so much, Yi. Looking forward to catching up and hearing about your epic trip! xxoo

Breaks are good. Sometimes things just need to percolate 😅 Enjoy!
No doubt your dad led some divine intervention for your brother 😊🙏💜
Thanks, Simone. He continues to recover well.

Enjoy your trip, Lani.
Aye, aye, sir!
enjoy analogue time, Lani!
Having an analogue break soon too xxx
Yes, just trying to bring more of those moments back in daily life. You, too! Thanks. ❤️

I'm sorry, Jean. It sounds like your mom went out in the best way possible, so that must be some consolation for you and your family. Thinking of you.
As far as my brother goes, he's 48, and stocky, so perhaps that helped??? Who knows. It is a miracle and we're taking it. 💞
Thanks for being here, Jean. xxoo

Hi Lani,
glad to hear from you and that your brother is fine. Enjoy the time in Hawaii!
Thanks, Lauca! Given the state of American aviation, I surely will try my best! 💞
I believe your dad was involved 100%
